Ordourves Appetizers

Delight your guests with these elegant ordourves appetizers, featuring a variety of bite-sized, flavorful treats perfect for any gathering or celebration.

  • 12 slices of baguette
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 6 slices smoked salmon
  • 1 small cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp capers
  • Fresh dill sprigs for garnish
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast for 5-7 minutes until lightly golden.
  2. In a small bowl, mix cream cheese with lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture on each toasted baguette slice.
  4. Top each with a slice of smoked salmon and a cucumber slice.
  5. Sprinkle with capers and garnish with fresh dill.
  6. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 2 hours before serving.

Notes

For an added touch of elegance, drizzle a little honey mustard dressing over the top or substitute smoked salmon with prosciutto for variety.
