Honey Ricotta Pizza

A delightful blend of creamy ricotta, sweet honey, and crispy crust creates a perfect balance of flavors in this easy-to-make Honey Ricotta Pizza.

  • 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh rosemary or thyme for garnish (optional)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. Transfer the dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  4. Brush olive oil evenly over the dough.
  5. Spread ricotta cheese over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  6. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the ricotta.
  7. Add a pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
  9. Remove from oven and immediately drizzle honey generously over the pizza.
  10. Garnish with fresh rosemary or thyme if desired.
  11. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

For a nuttier flavor, sprinkle toasted walnuts or drizzle extra honey just before serving.
