A healthy and flavorful ground turkey broccoli pasta that combines lean protein, fresh broccoli, and tender pasta in a savory garlic sauce, perfect for a quick and nutritious weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add ground turkey to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through, breaking it apart with a spoon.
  4. Add broccoli florets to the skillet along with chicken broth. Cover and cook for 5 minutes until broccoli is tender.
  5. Stir in cooked pasta, Parmesan cheese, and red pepper flakes if using. Mix well to combine all ingredients and heat through.
  6. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra creaminess, stir in 1/4 cup heavy cream or a splash of pasta cooking water before serving.
