  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 1 cup gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 1/2 cups gluten-free breadcrumbs
  • Cooking oil spray or 1/4 cup olive oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a shallow bowl, mix gluten-free flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs and water until combined.
  3. Place gluten-free breadcrumbs in a third shallow dish.
  4. Dip each chicken tender first into the flour mixture, then into the egg wash, and finally coat evenly with breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add chicken tenders in batches without overcrowding.
  6. Cook each side for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  7. Remove cooked tenders and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  8. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For extra crispiness, bake the tenders at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes instead of frying, flipping halfway through cooking.
