This Garlic Parmesan Chicken features tender chicken breasts coated in a flavorful garlic and parmesan crust, perfect for a quick and delicious dinner.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a shallow bowl, combine the Parmesan cheese, garlic, breadcrumbs, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the flour in another bowl and beat the eggs in a third bowl.
  4. Dip each chicken breast first in flour, then egg, and finally coat evenly with the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
  6. Cook the chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink inside.
  8. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, garnish with additional grated Parmesan and fresh parsley. Serve with a side of steamed vegetables or a crisp salad.
