Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  3. In a third bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs with Parmesan cheese.
  4. Dredge each chicken tender in the flour mixture, then dip into the beaten eggs, and coat with the panko-Parmesan mix.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  6. Fry chicken tenders in batches, about 3-4 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through.
  7. Transfer tenders to paper towels to drain excess oil.
  8. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, honey, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice to make the dipping sauce.
  9. Serve the crispy chicken tenders warm with the dipping sauce on the side.

Notes

For extra crunch, double coat the tenders by repeating the egg and breadcrumb steps before frying. Serve with fresh lemon wedges or a side salad for a complete meal.
