Christmas Rice Crispy Treats

Festive and fun Christmas Rice Crispy Treats made with marshmallows, butter, and holiday sprinkles for a perfect holiday snack everyone will love.

  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup red and green holiday sprinkles
  • Optional: 1/2 cup white chocolate chips for drizzling

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, melt butter over low heat.
  2. Add marshmallows and stir continuously until completely melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Quickly fold in Rice Krispies cereal until evenly coated.
  5. Gently fold in red and green sprinkles.
  6. Press mixture evenly into a greased 9×13 inch pan using a buttered spatula or wax paper.
  7. Optional: Melt white chocolate chips and drizzle over the top for extra decoration.
  8. Allow to cool and set for at least 30 minutes before slicing into squares.

Notes

For an extra festive touch, try adding chopped candy canes or using flavored marshmallows. Store treats in an airtight container to keep them fresh.
