Chocolate Peppermint Fudge

Indulge in this rich, creamy Chocolate Peppermint Fudge, blending smooth chocolate with refreshing peppermint for a festive sweet treat perfect for any occasion.

  • 3 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1 cup crushed peppermint candy canes
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter over low heat.
  3. Stir constantly until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth.
  4. Remove from heat; stir in peppermint extract, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
  5. Fold in half of the crushed peppermint candy canes.
  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining crushed peppermint candy canes on top, gently pressing into the fudge.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours or until firm.
  9. Once set, cut into small squares and serve.

Notes

For an extra festive touch, drizzle melted white chocolate over the top before chilling or use colored peppermint candies for garnish.
