Chocolate Cream Delight is a rich and velvety dessert that combines smooth chocolate ganache with whipped cream for a luscious treat perfect for any occasion.

  • 200g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream, divided
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
  • Chocolate shavings, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat half of the heavy cream in a saucepan over medium heat until it just begins to simmer.
  2. Remove from heat and add the chopped dark chocolate, stirring until smooth and fully melted.
  3. Let the chocolate mixture cool to room temperature.
  4. In a separate bowl, whip the remaining heavy cream with sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until stiff peaks form.
  5. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cooled chocolate mixture until fully combined and smooth.
  6. Divide the mixture into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
  7. Before serving, garnish with chocolate shavings if desired.

Notes

For a refreshing twist, add a splash of espresso or a pinch of cinnamon to the chocolate mixture before folding in the whipped cream.
