Chicken Spaghetti

A creamy and comforting Chicken Spaghetti casserole that combines tender chicken, spaghetti pasta, and a rich cheese sauce for a hearty family meal.

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 8 oz spaghetti, cooked al dente
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup green bell pepper, diced
  • 1/2 cup onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onion, bell pepper, and garlic until softened, about 3–5 minutes.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, cooked spaghetti, sautéed vegetables, cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, cheddar cheese, chicken broth, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.
  6. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, until bubbly and cheese is melted and slightly golden.
  7. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding a handful of chopped green chilies or topping with crushed tortilla chips before baking for a crunchy texture.
