Chicken Garlic Parmesan Pasta

This Chicken Garlic Parmesan Pasta is a creamy, flavorful Italian-inspired dish featuring tender chicken, roasted garlic, and a rich Parmesan sauce that comes together in just 30 minutes.

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove from skillet and slice into strips.
  4. In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic. Sauté garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer.
  6. Gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  7. Add the cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly.
  8. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
  9. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes or substitute Parmesan with Pecorino Romano cheese.
