Cheesy Broccoli Chicken and Rice Casserole

A comforting and delicious casserole combining tender chicken, fresh broccoli, creamy cheese, and fluffy rice, perfect for a wholesome family dinner.

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 2 cups broccoli florets, steamed
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked chicken, cooked rice, steamed broccoli, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Stir in 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese into the mixture.
  4. Transfer mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
  6. Drizzle melted butter over the casserole for a golden crust.
  7. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven and let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add chopped onions or a pinch of red pepper flakes. Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
