Bang Bang Chicken Skewers are a flavorful and spicy grilled appetizer featuring tender chicken pieces coated in a creamy, tangy, and spicy bang bang sauce. Perfect for parties or a tasty snack.

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 8 wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, rice vinegar, and minced garlic until smooth to make the bang bang sauce.
  2. Season the chicken cubes with salt and pepper.
  3. Thread the chicken pieces onto the soaked wooden skewers evenly.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates.
  5. Grill the chicken skewers for 4-5 minutes per side or until fully cooked and slightly charred.
  6. Remove from grill and generously brush the bang bang sauce on each skewer.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, sprinkle crushed peanuts on top before serving or serve with a side of cucumber salad for a refreshing contrast.
